Reading the dashboard for the first time
The Dashboard opens on a band of live figures called "Where the business stands." This page walks through that band in the order it renders, left to right, top to bottom.
Monthly recurring revenue
The first and largest figure is Monthly recurring revenue: the combined predictable revenue your active subscriptions bill each month, in your site's majority currency, with the number of subscriptions behind it just underneath. See how MRR is calculated and the full Dashboard reference for every card on this page.
Subscriptions
Next is Subscriptions: how many subscriptions are currently active, trialing, or past due, across every provider you have connected. See what counts as a subscription and the Dashboard reference.
Avg lifetime value
Avg lifetime value estimates the total revenue a typical customer brings in over their whole relationship with you, worked out from average revenue per customer and your churn rate. See how lifetime value is estimated and the Dashboard reference.
Customers
Customers counts everyone who has ever paid you at least once, whatever their status is today. See who counts as a customer and the Dashboard reference.
At-risk MRR
At-risk MRR is the monthly recurring revenue sitting in subscriptions whose payment has failed and has not yet been recovered. Here, unlike everywhere else on the page, a fall is the good direction. See how at-risk MRR is calculated and the Dashboard reference.
90-day retention
90-day retention is the pooled share of a signup cohort still subscribed 90 days later. It comes from SSA's cohort engine, so changing the dashboard's period picker never moves it. See how retention is pooled across cohorts and the Dashboard reference.
Net revenue retention (live)
The band closes with Net revenue retention (live): last month's revenue base, re-measured today with renewals kept at their current amount, churn counted as $0, and upgrades or downgrades applied, excluding anyone brand new since. See how live NRR is measured and the Dashboard reference for the rest of the page.
