GDPR export and erase
SSA does not build its own privacy request tools. It plugs into WordPress's own Export Personal Data and Erase Personal Data screens, so a request you already know how to run also covers SSA's customer records.
Where to find it
Go to Tools, then Export Personal Data or Erase Personal Data. SSA registers itself there under the name Subscription Analytics Customer Data, alongside whatever other plugins have done the same.
What the exporter includes
The exporter looks up every customer row whose stored email matches the address you searched for, and reports each as one item in a group named Subscription Analytics with these fields:
- Name
- Customer ID
- First seen
- Provider metadata
Subscriptions, payments and invoices are not exported directly: those rows are linked by a customer ID, not by email, so the personal data on SSA's side is limited to the fields above.
What the eraser does, instead of deleting
Running the eraser does not delete the customer record. It anonymizes it in place: the email and name are cleared, and provider metadata is cleared with them. The subscription and payment history stays, so your revenue and retention totals do not change.
Running an export or an erasure
Go to Tools, then Export Personal Data or Erase Personal Data.
Enter the email address exactly as it is stored for that customer, and send a new request (or confirm one already added by the customer themselves).
Send the export link to the requester, or confirm the erasure. SSA's part of the request runs in the same pass as every other plugin's.
